On April 12th, 2024, alumni from the East China branch of Peking University Guanghua School of Management's EMBA (Executive Master Of Business Administration) program (referred to as "PKU Guanghua EMBA East China Alumni") visited the Lin-gang Pilot Free Trade Zone. The first stop on their tour was Peking University Shanghai Lin-gang International Science and Technology Innovation Center (PKU-IICSH), where they were warmly received by Liu Wei, member of the CPC Lingang Group Committee and Vice President of Lingang Group, and Wang Yu, Executive Director of PKU-IICSH.

In the Party-Mass Service Hall on the first floor of the center, Director Wang Yu made a thorough introduction of the center, including a comprehensive overview, the business structure for nurturing enterprises, diversified incubation systems, science and innovation ecosystem, industrial activities, and more. He focused in detail on the center's "PWA Instrumentation & Service Center for Biomedicine" and the "Low-Altitude Economy" high-quality incubator (under construction).

The delegation then toured the 12,000 square meter R&D building of the center and the "PWA Instrumentation & Service Center for Biomedicine" located on the eighth floor (referred to as the "PWA Center"). The PWA Center, jointly developed by the "World Laureates Association (WLA) - Shanghai Center" and "ATLATL Center for Innovation & Research," focuses on serving the experimental needs of bio-pharmaceutical incubating companies, as well as meeting the needs of other research institutions and universities in the main urban area of Lin-gang. Covering an area of 1500 square meters, it is the first biomedical public experimental platform by Dishui Lake.

The PWA Center also serves as a hub for youth science and innovation services. As one of the first units to successfully apply for the "Shanghai Youth Innovation Laboratory (City-level)" in Lin-gang Special area, the center actively conducts professional training in experimental skills and science popularization activities for young people. The center offers services such as biomedical science popularization education, student innovation experimental internship projects, and science and innovation-themed study tours for young people.

Subsequently, the PKU Guanghua EMBA East China Alumni visited the Dishui Cloud Hall Planning Exhibition Center, the Lin-gang Service Trade Development Exhibition Hall, and engaged in discussions and exchanges with representatives from the Lingang Group.
