On June 28, 2024, Peking University Lin-gang Party-Mass Service Center was awarded the 2023 Characteristic A-level Party-Mass Service Position in Lin-gang Special Area, ranking first among all characteristic service centers during the celebration of the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party held in Lin-gang Special Area. This recognition is a high commendation from the Party Working Committee of Lin-gang Special Area for PKU-IICSH’s outstanding party construction work over the past year since its official opening on July 15, 2023. Looking forward, PKU-IICSH aims to promote the normalization of activities and a brand effect by focusing on science popularization activities targeted at the young through the establishment of a youth innovation laboratory. PKU-IICSH will strive to develop a service system that integrates “Party Building + Sci-Tech Innovation + Talent,” embodying the characteristics of Peking University and the times, and thereby bring together new quality productive factors.

The Youth Sci-Tech Innovation Service Base supported by Peking University Lin-gang Party-Mass Service Center provides not only public service platforms including PWA Instrumentation & Service Center for Biomedicine and Low-Altitude Intelligent Networks Technology Application Practice Platform, but also robust support for youth science education, innovative experimental internships, social practice, and study tours by uniting top scholars in various disciplines from elite universities such as Peking University as well as global industry leaders and strategic partners.
NO.2 Featured Function: Peking University Dishui Lake Lecture Hall as an Influential Academic Platform
Peking University Lin-gang Party-Mass Service Center is where Peking University Dishui Lake Lecture Hall (PKU-DSLLH) originates. It serves as an essential event base to display the high-end academic platform PKU-DSLLH, which has been hosting monthly lectures featuring renowned professors or expert scholars from Peking University, who provide specialized lectures and engage in in-depth discussions with residents in Lin-gang. This initiative aims to facilitate the concentration of high-quality humanities and social science resources from Peking University in Lin-gang, effectively enhancing the cultural image and urban competitiveness of the Lin-gang Special Area.
NO.3 Featured Function: Exhibition of Early Party History and the History of Peking University
Peking University Lin-gang Party-Mass Service Center exhibits early party history and the history of Peking University as the center of the New Culture Movement, the birthplace of the May Fourth Movement, the earliest site for the spread of Marxism and the idea of democracy and science, a significant base for the early activities of the CPC.
NO.4 Featured Function: Immersive Interactive Exhibition Area
By applying immersive interactive equipment and large screens for thematic exhibitions, participants can engage in interactive quizzes and other activities to enhance their knowledge of Party history, the history of Peking University, and Lin-gang Special Area.
NO.5 Featured Function: Public Reading Salon & Books Recommendation
Peking University Lin-gang Party-Mass Service Center has established a free reading salon for the public, featuring hundreds of books on “red culture” and Party building. There is a special section for works written by PKU-DSLLH lecturers and recommended books published by Peking University Press. The service center also exhibits Marxism research achievements such as
Ma Zang (Marxism literature compilation) compiled by the School of Marxism, Peking University.
NO.6 Featured Function: Policy Consultation Service Sessions
With the assistance and support of commissioners of party building and sci-tech innovation in Lin-gang Special Area, Peking University Lin-gang Party-Mass Service Center offers policy consultation services as needed and periodically hosts various policy interpretation lectures, providing Party affairs, talent, and industrial policy consultations to enterprises in the park.
