Recently, Peking University International Innovation Center, Lin-gang Special Area, China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Center (PKU-IICSH) was shortlisted as one of the second batch of Shanghai Youth Innovation Laboratories. As one of the first institutions successfully applying for the Shanghai Youth Innovation Laboratory in Lin-gang Special Area, PKU-IICSH is open to the public with over 2,000 square meters of service platforms, which include PWA Instrumentation & Service Center for Biomedicine, Low-Altitude Intelligent Networks Technology Application Practice Platform, and Party-Mass Service Center. PKU-IICSH also provides robust support for youth science education, innovative experimental internships, social practice, and study tours by uniting top scholars in various disciplines from elite universities such as Peking University, global programs and partners from cutting-edge industries, as well as resources from the Department of Party-People Affairs and schools in Lin-gang Special Area.

No.1 PWA Instrumentation & Service Center for Biomedicine

PWA Instrumentation & Service Center for Biomedicine is a state-of-the-art biomedical public laboratory co-established by PKU-IICSH, The World Laureates Association (WLA) Shanghai Center, and The ATLATL Center for Innovation & Research. With a total area of nearly 1,600 square meters, the public laboratory offers world-class experimental environments and precise operations management. It will be equipped with various specialized research and development platforms with on-site scientists and project management teams on current hot topics. Through partnerships with Peking University Health Science Center and its affiliated hospitals, biomedical research-oriented enterprises, and research institutions, the public laboratory integrates global resources to empower innovation and promote development, offering services such as biomedical science education for youth, student internship programs on innovation experiments, and science-themed study tours.

No.2 Low-Altitude Intelligent Networks Technology Application Practice Platform

The center has introduced the founding team of China's Earth domain space-time theory and national airspace space-time standards and capitalized on advanced technology such as low-altitude intelligent networks to promote the establishment of demonstration projects for low-altitude intelligent networking applications in the harbor district of Lin-gang Special Area. It also aims to drive the trillion-level strategic emerging industry of "low-altitude economy" and has received high recognition from Lin-gang Special Area Administration as related works are steadily advancing. The platform provides the youth with educational activities related to the low-altitude economy industry, as well as technical demonstrations and experiential project practices in multiple application scenarios.

No.3 Peking University Lin-gang Party-Mass Service Center

Located on the 1st Floor, Building 1, Phase II of Chuangxinmofang, covering an area of approximately 600 square meters, the Peking University Lin-gang Party-Mass Service Center integrates multiple functions, including party building, exhibitions, and talent services. It fully leverages Peking University's humanistic traditions, academic foundation, research strength, and talent resources, combined with PKU's red legacy and patriotic sentiment to actively establish a new benchmark with PKU features for multidimensional services in Lin-gang Special Area, focusing on "Party Building + Sci-Tech Innovation + Talent." The party-mass service center offers comprehensive services such as youth science education, knowledge and skills training in scientific innovation, thematic lectures on sci-tech innovation, and exhibitions of sci-tech achievements.
