On the morning of December 27, the Low-Altitude Integrated Fusion Flight Open Course of Peking University International Innovation Center, Lin-gang Special Area (hereinafter referred to as "PKU-IICSH" or "Center") was successfully held in the hall of the Party and Mass Service Center on the first floor of the Center. Zhang Yaqiang, Senior Vice President of Beidou Fuxi (北斗伏羲), served as the first lecture expert. More than 50 guests from all walks of life, including Wang Fang, President of the Shanghai Yangtze River Delta Modern Industry Promotion Association, and Liu Yongtao, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Operations of Anlaiye, participated in the open course on site. Wang Yu, Executive Director of PKU-IICSH , presided over this open course.

At the public lecture, Wang Yu introduced the institution's overview and low-altitude industry layout to the on-site audience, and provided a detailed explanation of the origin, positioning, and the "1+6" industry promotion model of the Peking University-Lingang Integrated Flight Demonstration Platform.

Before the official course commenced, at the temporary Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) take-off and landing site set up by the Center, Yang Hui from the Center's Low-Altitude Intelligent Connection Technology R&D Center conducted an on-site operation. Witnessed by all the audience, the UAV took off smoothly and flew from the PKU-IICSH Building (No. 88 Lane, Haiyang Second Road, Pudong New Area) along the planned route to Gangcheng Xintiandi (No. 225 Lane, Moli Road, Pudong New Area). Third-party navigation showed a ground distance of approximately 5 kilometers.

Subsequently, Yang Hui from Beidou Fuxi comprehensively demonstrated the Peking University-Lingang Integrated Flight Demonstration Platform to on-site audience at the command hall of Peking University's Low-Altitude Integrated Flight Demonstration Platform. The entire process—from the UAV's takeoff along the applied flight route to its flight all the way to Gangcheng Xintiandi—was fully showcased. During the flight, the aerial patrol route of Lingang Xingluo's UAV operating in the same airspace could be observed (the yellow line section in the figure). Through this low-altitude intelligent-connected three-dimensional traffic command system, all UAVs engaged in flight operations can truly realize integrated flight under the command and control of a unified platform, thus avoiding the occurrence of air traffic accidents.

At 10:15, witnessed by all on-site audience members, Liu Yongtao, Deputy General Manager of Anlaiye, assisted President Wang Fang in completing a real order placement and meal ordering test via the "Anlaiye" mini-program—a digital platform for university local life services. The UAV finished picking up the meal at Gangcheng Xintiandi and set off on its return journey at 10:21, before safely arriving back at the Central Building at 10:28 to deliver the meal to President Wang Fang. The entire process took 14 minutes, with the actual flight time being only 7 minutes—saving at least 20 minutes compared to the average meal delivery time for the same distance.

Finally, Deputy General Manager Zhang Yaqiang delivered a special training course titled Analysis of the Low-Altitude Economy Industry and Its Industrial Development. He elaborated on the development background and policies of the low-altitude economy industry, popularized basic knowledge about low-altitude operations, conducted a comprehensive analysis of the low-altitude industry chain, introduced the development status and application scenarios of the low-altitude industry through domestic and international comparisons, and shared relevant research on low-altitude infrastructure, application scenarios, as well as the incubation and cultivation of the low-altitude industry. The audience actively participated in interactive Q&A sessions, creating an enthusiastic atmosphere, and Deputy Director of PKU-IICSH Zhang Weiwei also joined in the interactions.

The Peking University Lingang Integrated Flight Demonstration Platform was officially launched at the "2024 Future Space & High-end Manufacturing High-Quality Development Forum" co-organized by the Center on the 26th. Jointly built by 16 relevant institutions – including the PKU-IICSH, low-altitude aircraft enterprises, scenario application providers, and energy support companies – this platform is a low-altitude intelligent connected three-dimensional traffic command system. It integrates multiple application scenarios such as food and parcel delivery, urban patrols, low-altitude sightseeing, and emergency rescue. Moving forward, it aims to reduce costs and enhance efficiency for market entities entering the low-altitude economy, while providing robust support for governments to promote the development of this sector.
