On August 28, 2024, the Lingang Center served as a vibrant hub as it hosted the Grand Finals of the X-TIME 2024 International Entrepreneurship Competition. Since March, the competition has attracted nearly 500 entrepreneurial teams globally. After nearly five months of intense competition and three rounds of eliminators, 48 teams stood out and advanced to the final. The Grand Final had over 300 attendees in person and captivated 2 million online viewers, all eager to witness the historic moment.
Since the competition’s recruitment announcement, Peking University Lin-gang International S&T Innovation Center (PKU-IICSH) has been actively participating in the event by recommending incubated and reserve projects, with a total of 30 projects registering (many from entrepreneurial projects of students at Peking University Innovation Club). Among them, 21 projects advanced to the quarter-finals, entering the top 126 teams, and 11 projects made it to the top 48 teams and advanced to the final.
In the final competition, the project by the Innovation Center of High Performance Integrated Photonics Circuits at PKU-IICSH won the second prize. Additionally, five projects respectively from Beijing Alaimen Technology Co., Ltd., Shuquantong Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Boya Poly, Beijing Boya Realscene Technologies Co., Ltd., and Thunders Mobility won the third prize. Meanwhile, five other projects respectively from Jiaxing Tenfong Technology Co., Ltd., Ayti Bioscience（Beijing）Co., Ltd., Zhidaoyuan (Shanghai) Digital Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Beidou Fuxi Technology Co., Ltd., and Beijing Diffuse Future Technology Co., Ltd. received the Excellence Awards.
