From September 23 to 27, 2025, the 25th China International Industry Fair (CIIF）, themed "New Industrial Vitality, Boundless Intelligent Manufacturing", was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). This 5-day event brought together over 3,000 domestic and foreign exhibitors from 28 countries and regions worldwide, with Peking University invited to exhibit in the University Exhibition Zone.
Peking University International Sci-Tech Innovation Center at Lin-gang Special Area, China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone (PKU-IICSH) recommended 14 cutting-edge projects for the exhibition. These include the Artificial Intelligence Silicon-based Optoelectronic Chip (Erbium-doped Waveguide Amplifier), Synnovator, Traditional Chinese Medicine AI Robot, Shiweixian AI Rice Milling Robot (C2F: Customer-to-Factory), Beijing Boya Ruishi Technology Co., Ltd., Integrated Storage Chip for Data Chain of Multi-source Commercial Resources & Multi-modal Spatio-temporal Fusion Data Element Standardization Service All-in-One Machine, Multi-modal Fusion AI Model Based on Spatio-temporal Collaboration, Plasma-type Focused Ion Beam, Wide-speed Domain Electric Propeller, Weifan Intelligent – Pan-robot "Whole Brain" Chip, New Generation Spatial Intelligent Core: Astromind Remote Sensing Basic Large Model, Application and Clinical Transformation of Biological 3D Printing in Regenerative Medicine, End-to-end Decarbonization Intelligent Agent, and Chengxinxiu Digital-Intelligent Platform Project.
PKU-IICSH was honored with the Excellent Organization Award in the University Exhibition Zone. The Artificial Intelligence Silicon-based Optoelectronic Chip (Erbium-doped Waveguide Amplifier) project clinched the Innovation Gold Award in the same zone, while Chen Shuang, Director of Science and Technology Development at PKU-IICSH, received the Advanced Individual Award.
As a premier window for displaying high-tech products representing advanced domestic and international standards, and a core carrier for boosting economic and technological exchanges and cooperation, CIIF offers universities an effective platform to advance the integration of industry, academia and research. By actively participating in the University Exhibition Zone, PKU-IICSH has contributed Peking University’s wisdom to enhancing universities’ sci-tech innovation capacity and comprehensive sci-tech strength.
The 25th CIIF serves as both a tribute to industrial civilization and a preview of the future of industry. China’s industrial sector is evolving from a technological follower into a key participant and pioneer in global innovation. It will continue to deepen opening-up and cooperation, speed up the empowerment of new productive forces, and contribute Chinese wisdom and strength to the development of global industry.
