Peking University International Sci-Tech Innovation Center at Lin-gang Special Area, China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone (PKU-IICSH) was invited to participate as an important partner. This conference focused on the development of patent industrialization under the background of "AI+", aiming to explore new models for the coordinated advancement of scientific and technological innovation, industrial transformation and financial support, and to boost high-quality economic development. Nearly 30 representatives from the government, industries, universities and service institutions attended the conference. Li Cheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Intellectual Property Publishing House, attended the conference and delivered a speech.

In the keynote speech session, Zhang Gong, Executive Director of the Research and Development Center for Sci-Tech Finance and Data Operations of PKU-IICSH, delivered a speech titled "A New Scientific and Technological Innovation Policy Tool – Operation and Promotion of the Innovation Points System". He systematically introduced the important role of the innovation points system in advancing the evaluation of sci-tech talents, enhancing enterprises' innovation capabilities and driving regional innovation and development, and shared the Center's theoretical research outcomes and practical cases in multiple regions in this field. Zhang Gong pointed out that the innovation points system not only helps accurately identify and cultivate high-growth tech enterprises, but also provides a quantitative basis for the government to optimize the allocation of innovation resources, making it an effective policy tool to promote a positive cycle of "technology-industry-finance".

At the signing ceremony, PKU-IICSH and IPPH signed a strategic cooperation agreement, with Zhang Weiwei, Deputy Director of the Center, witnessing the signing. All parties will conduct in-depth cooperation in such areas as data sharing, co-construction of platforms and co-creation of models, to jointly build an innovation ecosystem supporting patent industrialization and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.

In the future, PKU-IICSH will continue to leverage its advantages in sci-tech finance, data operations and research on innovation policies, and collaborate with all stakeholders to promote the efficient transformation and industrial application of intellectual property, providing support for building an innovation-driven country and a nation with strong intellectual property rights.
