The "Yanyuan International Innovation and Technology Competition" is a comprehensive service platform for international innovation and technology projects and talents in the early stage, focusing on hard technology fields, which is the flagship project of the INNO-YES. It consists of two competition series: Series A-Industrial Innovation and Technology Competition and Series B - Youth AI+ Entrepreneurship Competition. This year's competition, as the first appearance of the INNO-YES International Innovation and Technology Competition Series B in Shanghai Lingang, combines the opening and operation of the "INNO-YES International Youth AI Entrepreneurship Training Base" and leverages the resources of investment institutions such as Yanyuan Fund to create an integrated AI+ international entrepreneurship ecosystem service platform that includes "competition, training, incubation, investment, and exhibition". This has stimulated the innovative thinking and entrepreneurial enthusiasm of the participating college students and promoted the application of AI technology in various fields. Subsequently, the training base will remain open and provide long-term support of 3 to 6 months for the participating teams to help them improve their products and business models. At the same time, the platform will evolve into an open "AI Nomad Community", widely attracting individuals and teams with common entrepreneurial ideals to join, and assisting outstanding AI entrepreneurship projects to grow vigorously.

The 1st Shanghai Yanyuan Dishui Lake Collegiate AI+International Startup Challenge, based on the INNO-YES SynNovator AI intelligent body development platform, set up six vertical tracks including AI social interaction, AI education, smart tourism, smart home, smart city, and smart commerce, as well as a self-defined "6+X" track. Since the recruitment began in June this year, it has attracted over 200 teams and 700 participants from top universities at home and abroad. According to the practical requirements of the competition, 103 teams were finally confirmed to enter the competition's online community. The members of the participating teams come from many well-known universities at home and abroad, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Nanjing University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, University of Tokyo, University of Southampton, and the five universities in Lingang, among which 18 are from Shanghai and 30 are from outside Shanghai (including overseas). Each team proposed several innovative and valuable solutions for the application of "6+X" AI+ vertical scenarios.
It is worth noting that a considerable proportion of the non-technical background students participated in this competition. Students from different disciplines such as science and engineering, humanities, social sciences, and medicine, based on the general technology development platform and community communication platform provided by this competition, took their first step in AI entrepreneurship under the guidance and training of experts and teachers, gained valuable entrepreneurial methods and confidence, and also found like-minded and highly imaginative and executive partners. They will continue to pursue their dreams with the support of the resources of the INNO-YES.

The training base provides contestants with training and guidance in business, technology, and art.

In addition, this competition has set up the "Most Popular Award", which will be selected online through the SynNovator mini-program starting today. All awards will be presented at the award ceremony on November 8th.
Before the project presentation, the "Innovative Lingang·Youth New Forces-100 Youth Visits to 'Lingang Innovation City' Series of Activities" was launched. The Communist Youth League Working Committee of the Lingang Special Area will organize young people to participate in innovation and technology competitions, visit enterprises and parks, and have dialogues with industry experts in the following 100 activities, making friends with like-minded partners and jointly drawing the blueprint for the future.
